Koko Head

Although O’ahu is approximately 3‭ ‬million years old‭, ‬radio carbon dating has determined the age of Koko Crater to be‭ ‬only about‭ ‬40,000‭ ‬years old‭. ‬

It now towers over the town of Hawaii Kai‭, ‬and is a popular hike for locals and tourists alike‭.  ‬Once reaching the top, hikers are rewarded with‭ ‬panoramic views of South East O’ahu and the Kaiwi Channel‭. ‬
